First Human Clone

Korean scientists are announcing today that they have taken the first step toward creating genetically matched cells and tissues for transplant by taking stem cells from a cloned human blastocyst. Of course, the majority on the President's Council on Bioethics recommended last year that a 4 year moratorium on precisely this type of research. Look to see the Senator Brownback and others who oppose therapeutic cloning to go ballistic today.
