I believe the Iowa outcome is as damaging to Clark as it was to Dean... and given the history of the Iowa Caucusi I won't be hanging my hat on its outcome anyway...

There is a tendancy to send off early primary losers with more praise than they merit--eg. Bruce Babbitt. Even guys who didn't run like Sam Nunn.
