For Absent Friends
The latest Pew Internet & American Life Project survey is out, and not surprisingly, it finds that Net usage is leveling off at about 63 percent of the population. This is what you would expect to happen with any new technology: rapid growth, consolidation, eventual ubiquity.
This pattern has stirred old worries that the Net is too expensive or too confusing for everyone to partake. But staying unwired now may be the rational choice for some folks, even if academics and wonks pronounce the Net "indispensable" -- for academics and wonks.
All I know is the staying off the Grid sure looks good to me long about the 279th penis spam of the day

StMack,
Well, you cannot count, so you are even it appears.
Give the internet long distance calls technology a chance and that precentage of online users will increase. However, the Penis Spam did give me food poisoning so it took a couple of days before I could log back on!
Jean Bart,
Actually, it was my intention to include myself in the group of lousy typists and lazy proof readers.
I have been able to count quite well for the past 28 or was it 38... I leared to count when I was 3 and just turned...
never mind.
C'mon, everybody knows this whole internet thing is just a fad. I'm stickin with Amos and Andy, thanks.
The other 47% not online must be the stupid white southern religious conservatives they are arguing about in the thread below on Howard Dean getting religion!
Do I call myself a 37 per center? Hell, when my telephone rings I jump out of my skin and start swearing at it.
The phone, that is. Not my skin.

Ass opposed to those people who are on-line but can't count? 😉
Actually, according to today's New York Times, religion is the second-fastest growing Internet niche.
PENIS SPAM?
I always wondered exactly what parts of the pig were packed into those cans.
No that would be as opposed to those who can't type or hit the hit the post button without reading it first. Ass.
Hehehe; touche 🙂
You know, there are three types of mathematicians: those who can count, and those who can't.
Math is for people with no intuition
"I leared to count ... "
Did you learn to count first, or learn to spell first?
