Grade Inflation
Lauren Lee's latest report card from Sherwood High School showed the 14-year-old had two As and an incomplete. Not too shabby, given that she has never attended the Montgomery County, Maryland, school. Apparently, Lee's middle school sent her records to the high school, even though her parents placed her in a local Catholic school. Since the start of the school year, her family has been subjected to numerous automatic phone calls from Sherwood alerting them to upcoming school events. The family says the calls continued even after they told the school their daughter didn't attend. And then, they got her first report card. "They have to know by now she doesn't go there," said her mother.
