Las Vegas police officer Ryan McCulloch has racked up three DUI offenses in 18 months, and now some people are asking why he wasn't punished after the first two incidents. The first time he was stopped, after crashing into a parked car, McCulloch tested at twice the legal limit for blood alcohol. Despite this, he wasn't arrested. He was given a misdemeanor citation, which was later dismissed by prosecutors. McCulloch did have his license revoked and was temporarily suspended after his second offense. But after the suspension was lifted, he returned to work and continued to drive a police cruiser, despite having no license. Police officials say they didn't realize he was driving illegally. They also say he hasn't received preferential treatment because he is a police officer.
