Enter the Derb
My opinion of John Derbyshire, not ordinarily one of my favorite pundits, rose a few notches when I learned that he once had a small part in a Bruce Lee movie.
More exactly, my opinion rose when I read his entertaining memoir of the experience.

derb rules
Derbyshire says a lot of things I disagree with, but I love his writing. My girlfriend and I both greatly enjoyed his novel, "Seeing Calvin Coolidge in a Dream."
I suppose this means he can kick Andrew Sullivan's ass anytime, anywhere.
I don't think you should mention a gay man's ass around derb. I see derb as a fun, smart, guy who has thing about gays that he just can't get over. I'd love to read an autobiography.
