I guess Blake had it backwards when he said, "Prisons are built with stones of Law, brothels with bricks of Religion." Apparently it is the prisons that are built from bricks of religion.

Is this more of a case of emminent domain gone bad or what? How the hell does the local government have the right to do this? The fact that this church still has Mass and an active congregation and is still well-maintained should be reason enough for them to back off.
We should be seeing a few congregants in this comment board today. The link links right back to this discussion. I would be interested to hear what they have to say about this. Since this is a local issue, I'm curious about the facts of the situation.
