Net Newspeak
In a much-linked piece entitled "Saving the Net," techblogger king Doc Searls argues that the rhetoric of "property" and "free market competition" have been warped and coopted by their enemies in the telecom context. This is basically just the Enron lesson: in a heavily regualted context, what passes as "deregulation" often just entails shuffling the rules to benefit a different set of incumbents.
