Talking Head Walking
SF Weekly has an interesting profile of Ibrahim al-Marashi, whose paper "Iraq: Its Infrastructure of Concealment, Deception and Intimidation" was famously plagiarized by UK intelligence and reworded to make a smoking gun for Secretary of State Powell's prewar UN presentation. Al-Marashi, who at the end indicates he regrets his pro-war stance, makes some interesting tactical comments on how to remove all nuance and complexity from your thesis in order to do TV and radio standups.

Sounds like his stock is starting to slide. Perhaps he should write a new thesis on the Laci Petersen case.
