Gun Makers Don't Kill People
The advisory jury in the NAACP's lawsuit against the gun industry has concluded that 45 manufacturers and distributors of firearms should not be held responsible for crimes committed with their products. It failed to reach verdicts for 23 other defendants. U.S. District Judge Jack B. Weinstein, hand-picked by the NAACP's lawyer because of his receptiveness to her arguments, can still reject the jury's advice.

Interesting. Thanks for the link to your article. I was just wondering why this suit is in federal court and what was up with the advisory jury. Your article answers those questions and more.
I would love to know what the jury's exact findings were and/or what the verdict form looked like.
Do they have anything like a 2nd Amendment in India? (Or is it Malaysia?)
Today, torts are simply a moneymaking entity for law firms and a vehicle for people who wish to destroy the institutions of private property and free enterprise by manipulating the law.
Indeed, the law has ceased being a shield and instead has become a sword to be used by the state and by all who wish to destroy what was once a great civilization.
