Quick! Make the Bono Bill eternally retroactive!
No matter how often Disney's lawyers and lobbyists can get Congress to extend copyright beyond its original limits, it looks like all might be for naught, if this bizarre story is to be given any credence. It seems as if a 14th century fresco in an Austrian church contains an image that is recognizably Mickey. Maybe all those Disney dollars really belong in the Vatican's vaults.
