In marketing they refer to people as if they are cattle "the herd mentality"as they put it. As liberitarians we are individualists and do not agree with the herd.The problem with that is the rest of the herd stampedes you.We know by reading the constitution and the works of Jefferson that Ron Paul is right. That the government exists to protect the individual from the herd.But we have to be realistic, it took a hundred years for our people to be herded, it may take some time for them to be freed.If we don't try to sway from inside the GOP and try to make gains from the foothold Ron Paul has given us, than to run back into our liberitarian individualistic camps and fight amongst ourselves while the collectivists run the country and dictate to us what kind of, toiletpaper,lightbulbs,etc., we use. I watched the liberitarian party convention turn into a big fight.I am a liberitarian that is hoping to change the GOP, which is a cohesive unit, by educating as many of them as possible. It is sad that all anyone has to do is read the constitution,it is after all written in our native tongue.
