  • Warrren||

    One of the greatest reveals in all of cinematic history.

  • CE||

    Somehow he never saw the stars or the moon the whole time.

  • Warrren||

    It was overcast. It almost always overcast in the future because of pollution.

  • Caleb Turberville||

    1968 brought us two of the best sci-fi movies all time: Planet of the Apes and 2001.

    By the way, when will the sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes come out? I really liked that one.

  • Lady Bertrum||

    I really liked that one.

    God Damn you, Caleb Turberville. God Damn you to hell!

    (it was an awful movie)

  • Caleb Turberville||

    It wasn't perfect, but it had the makings of a stable franchise. It looks like Dawn... is supposed to be out next summer.

  • Long Range Boredom||

    I thought John Lithgow did an excellent job with what he had to work with but yeah, I didn't care for it either.

  • Brutus||

    Laugh-a while you can-a, monkey boy!

  • ||

    WHEN WILL WE SEE THE WORLD CRIME LEAGUE FILM WE WERE PROMISED IN THE END CREDITS!!!???? FUCKING BULLSHIT!

  • Libertymike||

    Caesar's coming, don't worry.

  • ||

    "Beware the beast Man Republican, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him; drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death."

  • cavalier973||

    Is that a quote from the movie? Because I'm pretty sure that cats kill for sport, and a variety of animals will resort to murder their siblings to maintain their territory.

  • hotsy totsy||

    Cats aren't primates, but yeah.

  • Paul.||

    Oh, I thought it was going to be a EuroDub Techno remix.

  • Hillary's Clitdong||

    Needz moar FINAL COUNTDOWN!

  • Swamp Think||

    Be careful what you wish for. Here is your unintended(I hope) consequence.

  • Heroic Mulatto||

    Oh, come on! You could have at least posted this version!

  • Swamp Think||

    Yikes! You illustrate my point.

  • Eduard van Haalen||

    Obama to cheering audience of factory workers: What if you shut down the factory because you had some grievance about your job? Wouldn't that be ungrateful to the nice people who pay you?

    http://hotair.com/archives/201.....they-want/

  • rts||

    *boggle*

  • Swamp Think||

    + strike one

  • Caleb Turberville||

    So, if you examine the metaphor, Republicans are the workers and the Democrats are the boss, I suppose?

  • Brian||

    See, the joke's on the factory workers. Obama switched topics to new labor law initiatives, without telling anyone.

  • Eduard van Haalen||

    "laws were drafted that banned strikes and lockouts..."

  • Heroic Mulatto||

    OT: With this shooting that happened in my neck of the woods a few days ago, and now the Capitol chase and shooting, it seems the MO of police is now to summarily execute anyone who drives in a manner they don't like.

  • Caleb Turberville||

    Initials reports portray the suspect as complicit in her own downfall, but anyone wanna take any bets that this might've been the result of a hair-triggered cop trying to make an example out of a disobedient citizen? I don't know. Something just doesn't seem right, especially having the child passenger.

  • Caleb Turberville||

    For example, wasn't there a excessive force story not too long ago about a cop that tried to justify lethal force against an reckless driver, only to find out later that she was driving recklessly because the cop had already initiated lethal force?

  • Swamp Think||

    In both cases the future target hit a police car. This triggers an Officer Safety Moving Free Fire Zone around the scumbag errr suspect.

  • Swamp Think||

    delete "Moving"
    insert "Dynamic"
    yeah

  • CE||

    Happens on GTA V all the time.

  • Loki||

    Lawrence, the mother of two grown children and a grandmother, was petrified of police because of previous encounters.

    Gee, I wonder why? /sarc

  • CE||

    So one of her two children is already a grandmother?

  • cavalier973||

    No, she is the mother of two children AND a grandmother. That makes three offspring.

    "Wake-up call, if this is tied into the Government Shutdown. You can't play with people's livelihoods like they're puppets / toys, which our leaders do actively."
  • cavalier973||

    Most of the comments are similar to the line "She deserved to get raped, look at what she was wearing!! She was asking for it!"

  • Pro Libertate||

    This is old school Reason. Back in the day, the Hestonian Apocalyptic Trilogy was a well people regularly went to.

  • Caleb Turberville||

    Apes, Omega, and Soylent? It's more of a tetrology when you include Bowling for Columbine.

  • Libertymike||

    Michael Moore sure loves those 4 course meals.

  • Warrren||

    Planet of the Cannibalistic Omega-Men! In Wide-Screen Technicolor!

  • Long Range Boredom||

    According to Michael Moore, Canadians don't lock their doors. According to myself and every Canadian I know, we sure as hell lock our doors. How else are we to keep the murderous semi-sentient moose at bay?

  • Caleb Turberville||

    Rise of the Planet of the Mooses

  • ||

    I always thought that was weird. I live in LA and never locked my door (current roommate was displeased and now I lock myself out all the time). Shoot in college we left our dorm room completely open while we were at class and never locked anything up and the only thing I had stolen was a packet of microwave popcorn.

  • Pro Libertate||

    Yes to the first three; don't be silly as to the last.

    Soylent Green. Made from the best thing in life--people!

  • NotAnotherSkippy||

    Is that a manadatory benefit of BarryCare?

  • Voros McCracken||

    Spoiler alert!
