Upcoming Nick Gillespie & Matt Welch Events

|

Tomorrow evening (October 18) at Yale, I'll be appearing at the Yale Political Union to debate the resolution "Ban Smoking at Yale." The fun kicks off at 7.30pm in Sudler Hall and the event is open to the public, though I don't believe that smoking will be allowed. If you're in the New Haven, Connecticut area, come on by.

On Saturday, October 22, Matt Welch and I will be appearing at the Students for Liberty Regional Conference that's being held at New York City's Columbia University.

The conference starts up at 9a.m. and runs till 8.30p.m. and is free and open to the public. Matt and I will be delivering the afternoon keynote address that is scheduled to run between 1.45p.m. and 2.45p.m. We'll be discussing key themes from our book, The Declaration of Independents: How Libertarian Politics Can Fix What's Wrong With America, and will be signing copies of the same afterwards, too.

Other speakers at the NYC confab include Tom Palmer of the Atlas Economic Research Foundation, Gene Epstein of Barron's, Nicole Gelinas of the Manhattan Institute, Joanne Naughton of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, Brian Aitken of the Foundation for Economic Education, and Isaac Morehouse of the Institute of Humane Studies.

It's Monday and after a punishing weekend for baseball fans everywhere (really, a World Series between the Rangers and Cards?), take an early morning vacation with the Compleat Ask a Liberatian video series from earlier this year:
