So Betty Boop is a Welfare Statist who is pro-gay, pro-animal rights, pro-public transit, anti-death penalty... My Gawd, she's Kucinich in a dress!

Abdul|1.24.08 @ 11:03AM|

I just got a call from a push pollster suggesting Betty Boop has had children out of wedlock.

From the same era: letter from the editor of the Onion:

"I almost cannot believe it is time for the suet-brained populace of this flagging Republic to be once again herded into the voting-booths to allegedly choose precisely which bloody-handed butcher will crack their bones and suck the marrow over the next few years."

There's wisdom in that Onion article:

"I have not voted since becoming a wealthy industrialist, having figured out some time ago that it is much wiser to employ the organ grinder than vote for the monkey"

No. The hot hot hot political video today is this:

Do you think the Clinton campaign is involved?

This is a second attempt to make it more clickable.

|1.24.08 @ 12:30PM|

Bruce,

WTF???

|1.24.08 @ 12:39PM|

What do you mean WTF pinko?

This "deposition" from an alleged homosexual prostitute about his coke and crack fueled tryst with said presidential candidate has been circulating all over the internet all morning.

Nike Juckabee|1.24.08 @ 12:50PM|

Good thing I was high when I watched that video.

The Wine Commonsewer|1.24.08 @ 1:07PM|

Jesse Walker, you are a gem. As was that Boop cartoon.

When I was five years old I had a mad crush on Boop. Used to run up to the Philco and kiss the TV screen.

The Wine Commonsewer|1.24.08 @ 1:10PM|

Bruce, as I recall libertarians love dirty politics. In fact, didn't Reason do a story on that?

Is it true? Is it false?

Do I care?

NOPE. 'cuz I would never consider voting for Obama anyway.

The Wine Commonsewer|1.24.08 @ 1:17PM|

Besides, the only people who will believe that Obama was doing coke and guys in the back seat are people who don't plan to vote for him anyway. Obama supporters will simply call BS on the story.

This sort of reminds me of when Boxer planted the story about her Republican opponent being going to hookers the day before the election.

miche|1.24.08 @ 2:19PM|

I think the Obama story should be in the news at least half as much as that particular donation to Ron Paul's campaign. While I really don't care about Obama's tastes in sex and drugs, knowing that LP candidates wouldn't get a pass made me feel much better about reposting the video this morning.

This video is really cool!

Bruce Majors|1.25.08 @ 12:27AM|

While I am entertained by seeing major party candidates eat each other in general, I posted that video in part because I wanted someone to trace its provenance. I loved Tucker's show tonight where he asked befuddled Demwit bobble heads about the Clinton's open fanning of racism in the Demwit Party and the resulting idiotic spinning of the little chattering cretins in denial.

Hmm|1.25.08 @ 4:03PM|

So she's for income redistribution, free movies & jazz, universal rain coverage, and progressive criminal reform.

Is that Red I smell, comrade?
