TSA Agent, Gunman Reportedly Killed in LAX Shooting

All flights to Los Angeles have been stopped after a Transportation Security Administration agent was shot and killed today at a security checkpoint at Los Angeles International Airport, law enforcement sources have told the Los Angeles Times.

The Times also is reporting that the suspect has been killed, and that three or four other TSA employees also were injured in the shooting.

According to reports, the gunman opened fire with high-powered rifle at Temrinal 3 near a security checkpoint at around 11:30 a.m. Chicago time.

Two terminals at the airport have been evacuated, according to KTLA-TV in Los Angeles. The Federal Aviation Administration had grounded flights.
