US Sends Snowden Arrest Warrant to Ireland
To prevent the NSA whistleblower from passing through Ireland on his way to Cuba
Washington has sent Ireland an arrest warrant for US whistleblower Edward Snowden, reports the Irish Times. The pre-emptive move is to prevent Snowden from stopping over in Ireland's Shannon airport should he take a flight to Cuba. Snowden is thought to still be in the transit lounge of Moscow airport.
