The father of the 4-year-old boy who shot and killed his six-year-old neighbor in Toms River, N.J., was arrested Monday night and charged with multiple counts of leaving unsecured firearms accessible to children, authorities said.

Anthony Senatore, 33, was arrested at his home in the Bayville section of Berkeley Township about 6:30 p.m, the Atlantic County Prosecutor Office announced.

On April 8, Senatore's son found his loaded .22-caliber rifle lying around and killed Brandon Holt with a single shot to the head. His death was announced the following day at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.
