LAPD Will Not Provide Info on Celebrity "Swatting" Cases

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  The Los Angeles Police Department said Thursday that they will no longer offer immediate information to the media on bogus 911 calls that target celebrity homes.

“We think that whoever is doing this is motivated by watching the police on TV and watching the helicopters come in, and we don’t want to allow that opportunity,” said Cmdr. Andrew Smith.

LA, so civilized it has the most expansive monarchy the world has ever seen. Every cop is a prince, and everyone else is their subjects. When the LAPD's actions prove to be embarassing to them, it is not only they that suffer, but the very fabric and order of society is undermined.

Or, are their subjects, if you prefer.
