Detroit City Council to Appeal Emergency Management Plan

Detroit City Council has voted to request a public hearing and appeal Gov. Rick Snyder’s plan to appoint an emergency financial manager for Detroit.

“We’re basically going to ask for that hearing,” Pugh said this afternoon.
