FAA Requesting Six Drone Testing Sites
WASHINGTON – A future in which unmanned drones are as common in U.S. skies as helicopters and airliners has moved a step closer to reality with a government request for proposals to create six drone test sites around the country.
The Federal Aviation Administration made the request Thursday, kicking off what is anticipated to be an intense competition between states hoping to win one of the sites.

This development could prove to be an unexpected boon for manufacturers of model rocket components for reasons not difficult to see. Interested persons will need also to study relevant topics in physics such as impulse, electronics, and chemistry.
In fact, the Columbians' drone mistake could be sufficient to motivate a whole generation of American rocketeers interested in privately-funded travel into and beyond Earth's orbit. To level the playing field, however, we'll need to kill all governmental space programs, including those of the American military.
