Iranian Hostages Captured by Syrian Rebels Released
Forty-eight Iranians held hostage by rebel fighters in Syria since August have been freed, Iranian state TV says.
The Iranians are reported to have been released in exchange for prisoners held by the Syrian authorities.
The rebels claimed the hostages had been carrying out a mission on behalf of Syrian government forces.
