Printing Shop Asking University for $1,250,000

MUNCIE — Ball State University offered $400,000 to buy the building housing the Hiatt Printing shop, which made a counter offer to sell the property for $1,250,000, according to court documents.

The rectangular, wood frame building clad in wood siding contains less than 4,000 square feet of commercial and student rental space. It has only a handful of parking spots. And it was built in 1925. But what makes it so valuable is its unique location at 506 N. McKinley Ave.
