Ukraine's Glory and Freedom Have Not Yet Perished
That happens to be the opening line of Ukraine's national anthem.
See here for the whole text, though I'm not wild about the translation of the remaining lines.
UPDATE: Thanks to my father Vladimir, who speaks Ukrainian, I have this translation of the first paragraph and the refrain:
Ukraine's glory and freedom have not yet perished
Upon us, young brothers, fate will yet smile
Like dew in the sun, our enemies will vanish,
And we will be masters of our own land.We will lay down our bodies and souls for our freedom
And we will show, brothers, that we are heirs to the Cossacks.

I’m curious how they will work иди нахуй into version 2. I know the reporting around that might not be entirely accurate, but still.

The vile lawyer abomination, Biden, weakened our military. He shut off our American gas supply. He raised the price of energy to a level where Putin will profit more than he will lose from sanctions.
Lol, criticizing Biden for many things actually sticks, but as a *lawyer?* That's like criticizing Reagan as a solider.
Hi, Queenie. I am writing a letter of recommendation for you. Can you tell me all the diverse boxes to be listed?

So awsome.
The blond PM Kira Rudik zooming with Fox News with a rifle in the background was badass.
How do I get that sign on a t-shirt.
Apparently a very skilled fake, put out by the Ukrainian govt:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/02/26/ukraine-russia-roads-signs-facebook/
"Ukravtodor, the government agency responsible for Ukraine’s national road system, announced the move on social media while sharing a fake photo of a road sign echoing the sentiments many hold toward Russian troops.
The photo of the blue road sign was altered to state, “Go f--- yourselves,” in three different ways.
“Let’s help them get straight to hell,” the agency wrote on Facebook. “Ukravtodor calls on all road organizations, territorial communities, local governments to immediately begin dismantling nearby road signs.”
Incidentally, just because its a meme, doesn't mean I disagree with it.
I ordered some printable bumper sticker paper just for that one.
Weird, not sure what happened to one of these posts.
Who cares that Putin is rolling over countries? We have a black female sc justice to prove race doesn't matter.
You just can't help but embarrass yourself.
Pity.
You sound cranky and disaffected, AmosArch. Have decades of getting progress shoved down your powerless, retreating throat by your betters given you heartburn?
If so . . . great!
Whatever the military outcome, it is Zelensky that owns the sound-bite of the decade: "The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride."
It is worth pointing out that this is the guy Trump withheld military aid from in an attempt to strong-arm his government into manufacturing political dirt. Zelensky has the stones Trump's followers wish he had.
Has Prof. Volokh (or any other Volokh Conspirator, if Ukranian) ever so much as uttered a peep about former Pres. Trump's conduct with respect to Ukraine?
#ConservativeCourage
Trump’s unsuccessful shakedown of Zelensky sucks, but the argument is undermined by the fact that he sent more aid to Ukraine than either Obama or Biden.
More than Obama generally, though about the same as in Obama's last year (a bit less in FY2017 and FY2018, modestly more in FY2019 and FY2020); about the same as Biden.
Which reflects pretty much a policy set either the State department or the DoJ. Obama, Trump, and Biden pretty much seemed to adopt their recommendataion.
With the notable exception that Trump would not have sent anything had it not been for Bolton stepping out of line (before stepping out the door) and ordering the shipments to proceed. Right or wrong it was his judgement that it was totally ludicrous to not continue the established arms shipments. It would seem that he was right. Trump just lost interest because he saw he wasn't going to get his way and he saw a need to distance himself from it because the impeachment process was building.
Until very recently Biden would have seen little need to increase arms shipment to Ukraine. This mobilization on Putin's part seems to have come very suddenly. There were some "last minute" shipments as Putin escalated. I hope they find a way to get more to them.
Sorry -- not DoJ it was DoD.
No, he didn't send more aid; the U.S. did. He tried to stop it. He only did when he had no legal way to prevent it.
Which political dirt eas that?
Didn't matter; the investigation was all Trump wanted.

Fixed that for you.
