Back in the good old days when Supreme Count nominations weren't political footballs.
At the time we were thinking “that’s about the best we’re going to get out of Reagan”. Which was more or less true, though Kennedy (nominated after the Bork debacle) turned out not so bad.
Years later she wrote about riding horses on her family’s 250-acre farm. I thought, That’s a pretty big farm. Then I saw that I had misread it. Her family’s farm was 250 square miles.
