I'm Reminded of These Leonard Cohen Lines [NOTE CRUCIAL UPDATE]
So the great affair is over
but whoever would have guessed
it would leave us all so vacant
and so deeply unimpressed
(Full lyrics, that are otherwise not at all apropos.)

Finally work up the courage to say something?
Unimpressed . . . indeed.
#ConservativeCourage
Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerers of death's construction
In the fields, the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
Oh, Lord, yeah!
[Verse 2]
Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that all to the poor, yeah!
Time will tell on their power minds
Making war just for fun
Treating people just like pawns in chess
Wait till their judgment day comes, yeah!
[Guitar Solo]
[Verse 3]
Now, in darkness, world stops turning
Ashes where their bodies burning
No more war pigs have the power
Hand of God has struck the hour
Day of Judgment, God is calling
On their knees, the war pigs crawling
Begging mercies for their sins
Satan, laughing, spreads his wings
Oh, Lord, yeah!
On further reflection:
It's not the right time to be sober
Now the idiots have taken over
Spreading like a social cancer, is there an answer?
MENSA membership conceding
Tell me why and how are all the stupid people breeding
Watson it's really elementary
The industrial revolution
Has flipped the bitch on evolution
The benevolent and wise are being quieted, ostracized, what a bummer
The world keeps getting dumber
Insensitivity is standard and faith is being fancied over reason
Darwin's rollin over in his coffin
The fittest are surviving much less often
Now everything seems to be reversing, and it's worsening
Someone flopped a steamer in the gene pool
Now angry mob mentality's no longer the exception, it's the rule
And im startin to feel a lot like charlton heston
Stranded on a primate planet
Apes and orangutans that ran it to the ground
With generals and the armies that obeyed them
Followers following fables
Philosophies that enable them to rule without regard
There's no point for democracy when ignorance is celebrated
Political scientists get the same one vote as some Arkansas inbred
Majority rule, don't work in mental institutions
Sometimes the smallest softest voice carries the grand biggest solutions
What are we left with?
A Nation of god-fearing pregnant nationalists
Who feel it's their duty to populate the homeland
Pass on traditions
"How-to-get-ahead" religions
And prosperity via simpleton culture
The idiots are taking over
Muh bombshells!
Next up, is investigating political opponents OK when Obama does it?
ML, if you can show that Obama did anything even remotely comparable to these facts -- called up a foreign leader and said he would withhold aid that Congress had already approved if the leader didn't announce an investigation of one of his political opponents -- I'll eat my hat.
No one has ever claimed Obama was fault-free. But what Trump did is completely unprecedented as far as we know. Saying "But What About Obama" serves no purpose other than to distract attention away from Trump.
Obama's security agencies spied on a US presidential campaign.
I guess lying is a big comfort to you at this moment, eh Bob?
Why the FISA report, then? It documented what the FBI did. If the FBI did nothing, then why did the FISA Court order them to explain their behavior and take remedial action.
The FISA report doesn't say Obama ordered the surveillance.
Bullshit.
There is overwhelming evidence that the Obama Administration spied on the Donald Trump presidential campaign. Anyone who suggests otherwise is a partisan asshat.
Hey, Prof. Volokh . . . is "asshat" approved by this blog's Board of Censors? The civility standards you described must be a work in progress, but "asshat" seems worth asking about.
I sense the Board of Censors would want to know, in considering this usage, that Michael W. Towns is reliably conservative.
Sorry you don't know what spy means.
"- to watch secretly usually for hostile purposes."
Miriam.
Perfectly describes the illegal surveillance of Candidate and then President Trump.
There was never any surveillance of candidate or president Trump.
Lies, no more lies
I can hear it in your voice and it shows in your eyes
Lies, no more lies
All I want is no more lies
Police wiretaps and stakeouts are spying now?
Also wasn't illegal. Unless you want to argue the entire FISA system has always been illegal.
Even courts recognize, when law enforcement make false affidavit(s) to obtain a warrant, said warrant is illegal.
BTW: Yes, police or any other law enforcement agency using electronic or Mod1 methods are spying.
Actually, no. While it is of course illegal to make false affidavits, the warrant (or, rather, the search pursuant to the warrant) is illegal only if, after removing the false statements, probable cause is lacking.
@David
Have you been sleeping for the last few months?
They've already announced probably cause was lacking on at least 2 of the 4 total warrants/renewals.
And by "they've," you mean Bill Barr, who is… not a judge.
Also, you didn't read what I wrote: it's a search pursuant to an invalid warrant, not the warrant itself, that would be illegal.
https://theintercept.com/2019/12/12/the-inspector-generals-report-on-2016-fb-i-spying-reveals-a-scandal-of-historic-magnitude-not-only-for-the-fbi-but-also-the-u-s-media/
And don't forget the spying on Kucinich
https://thehill.com/media/323846-dennis-kucinich-on-trumps-wiretap-charge-it-happened-to-me
Yes, I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that the person on the other end of the phone was Saif al-Islam Gadhafi.
So...you admit the Obama administration was recording private phone calls by US Congressmen....
Reading comprehension isn't your strength. (Lawyering isn't it, either. What is?) He "admitted" that they were recording calls by Saif al-Islam Gadhafi.
If you "wiretap" Gadhafi's phone, you will get recordings of calls to Gadhafi's wife, Gadhafi's kids' soccer coach, other members of the Libyan government, Gadhafi's dry cleaner, and, apparently, Dennis Kucinich. That doesn't mean that the U.S. government is surveilling Gadhafi's dry cleaner or Dennis Kucinich.
No. I'm admitting that the last administration recorded private phone calls by Saif al-Islam Gadhafi to Dennis Kucinich. Per the article:
"I had a resolution in the House to try to stop the war and [Saif al-Islam Gadhafi, a high-ranking official in Libya’s government and son of President Moammar Gadhafi] called me to talk about it".
The Intercept.
Is that where you get your facts?
I googled. It was there with the reference to the IG's report
If you want to ignore the IG report, go ahead.
There's no reason to argue over what the IG report said. It's right here.
The Intercept (and bernard and Armchair) can interpret the findings however they want. But the document speaks for itself.
Right, because they were concerned about Russian influence. Next.
They were so concerned about Russian influence that they spied on the guy that was spying on the Russians for the CIA, and had to falsify evidence to get the courts to approve it?
Right. Pull the other one.
If any of that had actually happened, you would have a point.
It was in the FISA abuse report.
good Lord, you people are trying to memory hole this like you did Obama's IRS political oppression.
The FISA abuse report? You mean the IG report that found that the investigation was properly predicated and not political?
Seriously, SarcastrO. Why do you even bother? In what way is your engagement with the beyond-reason fringe element any different from lightly banging your head against a wall? There's gotta be better ways to spend an evening . . . and ones not guaranteed to give you a headache.
I don't know that you've noticed but I'm bothering less and less these days.
The FISA report conclusively determined there was no political motivation?
I thought he said he didn't find any testimonial or documentary evidence of political motivation. Not that he concluded there was no political motivation. That nuance maybe lost on you, but not on me.
Further the last 2 renewals have already been declared illegal.
Well, I declare them legal.
If any of that had actually happened, you would have a point.
And even if it were true, it's irrelevant to Trump's conduct. Next time you get a speeding ticket, try arguing that other people speed too and see how far that argument gets you.
I assume you mean Carter Page. But Carter Page wasn't spying on anyone. The Russians had approached him to try to recruit him, and later when the CIA asked him about it, he told the CIA the truth. That's great and all, but it doesn't make him James Bond.
And one person fabricated one email. No other evidence was falsified, and it was not to get the courts to approve the surveillance on Page, because it only related to the third renewal of that surveillance.
Seriously?
You call using the Steele dossier with no verification by the FBI as not falsified? When it is required for the all information used for a FISA warrant to be verified before submitting it to FISC?
Correct. "Not verified" and "falsified" are very different terms with very different meanings.
Incorrect. That is not only not true, but nonsensical. Law enforcement does not need two sources for each assertion before using it in a warrant application, FISA or otherwise. The FISA requirement — which is not statutory but a matter of policy — is that they confirm that they have a source for each assertion in the application. If they say, "George Papadopoulos met with a Russian agent," they have to have a footnote saying, "According to the Australian ambassador." If they say, "Paul Manafort was receiving wire transfers from Russia," they need to say that they have bank records showing this, or that the bank manager told them this, or whatever.
Trump also didn't call up a foreign leader and say he would withhold aid if an investigation wasn't announced. On the other hand the Obama administration had the actual cooperation of 13 foreign governments in its investigation of the Trump campaign.
The very idea of any of Obama's sensitive private national security conversations being leaked is laughable, because Obama did not have 99% of the federal bureaucracy conducting outright war against him and his agenda. Obama's agenda was not an anathema to said bureaucracy, as Trump's popular reformist agenda is. The so-called whistleblower has been plotting impeachment since day one, just like the rest of them, some of whom have been mentioning impeachment since before Trump was even elected.
Oh yeah. A-OK. And if you're Warren, you can announce an entire DoJ task force dedicated to just investigating Trump and Trump associates, and that's fine.
But if Trump was to do the same with Biden....Impeach him!
It is precisely because a President Warren might announce an entire DOJ task force to investigate her political opponents that impeaching President Trump is important. This race to the bottom will not help any of us.
"We need to impeach Trump now, so that President Warren won't commit impeachable offenses later!"
Wow.....
What's "Wow" about that argument? Behavior X is bad. We don't want presidents doing it. If we allow one president to do X, then the next president, or the one after that, will do it also. The way to prevent it from happening in the future is to penalize it now, to set the principle that presidents shouldn't do it.
Because the just-established principle is that presidents can do whatever the hell they want, and there is nobody willing to put a check on them.
No. So it's clear that such conduct is impeachable.
I mean, if it's not impeachable when Trump does it, then it won't be when Warren does it.
Logic is your friend, A.L. Try to use it.
Funny how you people always want enforcement of the Constitution and the law when it's the *next* or *previous* President. The one without the proper letter denoting allegiance to your worldview.
Imagine how much more convincing your argument would be if you supported the impeachment and conviction of any President who violated their Oaths and responsibilities, regardless of political persuasion.
For the record, more evidence emerged even today: Before Zelensky even took office, Lev Parnas & Igor Furman nearly brokered a deal with the previous Ukrainian President, Petro Poroshenko. He would give Trump his "public announcement" of a faux investigation in exchange for a meeting between the two presidents, which would boost Poroshenko's reelection chances.
Of course Poroshenko was already known to be hopelessly corrupt by then, but the only priority of Trump, Parnas, Furman and Giuliani was extorting collusion from a foreign government.
Think about that for a second : This administration's only concern about who would rule Ukraine was whether that person was willing to benefit Trump personally.
And today GOP cowards in the Senate blessed a president who has repeated whored the favor of the United States for his own private gain.
Cry more lib.
Open wider, Bob.
Your betters aren't done with shoving progress down your right-wing throat. Not nearly.
Your obsequious compliance with the preferences of your betters is, as has been the case throughout all conservatives' lives, much appreciated.
Now be nicer, or the liberal-libertarian alliance might decide to start positioning that progress sideways before shoving.
Either way, you will comply. I'm just trying to make things more comfortable for you -- and the rest of the right-wingers -- until replacement occurs and stops your suffering.
That comment is more damming of you and what you'll condone than anything else, Bob.
Bob might just be distraught about learning that a just, righteous, omniscient, and omnipotent God gave Rush Limbaugh advanced lung cancer, which sort of trumps Trump giving Rush Limbaugh that medal.
If we piled some meat and cheese on top of this guy and put him on a silver tray we could serve him as a canapé.
Let me spell it out for you, C-R-A-C-K-E-R
Be careful. Liberals and libertarians (and moderates, and RINOs) can get censored around here.
We had the vote. POTUS Trump was acquitted.
Trump -- every bit as exonerated as O.J.!!
Clinger must be so proud.
No Dickland, I am not proud at all. In fact, I am ashamed. At a time where we need adults, we have toddlers as elected leaders. Washington DC is nothing but a toxic cesspool. And I am extremely concerned for the future of our Republic. No good will come out of this. I am not alone in these feelings.
What has happened here is nothing to celebrate; it is a shameful interlude in our Republic's history.
Relax. The liberal-libertarian mainstream can handle this. Haven't you been paying attention for 50-60-70 years?
In America, the bigots don't win, not over time.
Perhaps the House can just impeach Trump again.
It should depend on evidence.
LOL...sure.
So you quote Parnas, a man already caught fabricating testimony about this, to say that Giuliani and Trump were interested in Biden's corruption months before Biden became Trump's opponent?
And your article says they wanted answers to the questions:
That's your evidence of corruption? Even if true, this doesn't actually help your case, you know.
Okay; I guess we have to do this again :
1. Shokin was not investigating Burisma.
2. Shokin refused assistance to a British investigation of Burisma
3. Obama told Biden to pressure Ukraine.
4. State Department policy demanded Shokin’s out.
5. A publicly articulated U.S. policy goal demanded Shokin out
6. Bipartisan support from Congress demanded Shokin out
7. The European Union demanded Shokin out
8. The World Bank demanded Shokin out
9. The IMF demanded Shokin out
10. The European Bank for Reconstruction & Development demanded Shokin out.
11. Every reform group in Ukraine demanded Shokin out.
What you’re peddling, Toranth, isn’t dishonesty on the level of spin, but black-is-white agitprop lying. It can’t survive a five minute review of the facts. Unless you're hypocrite or troll, there's no way for you to ignore the facts anymore.
PS : Bolton will testify. More evidence will emerge, month by month. Sooner or later, Trump's stench will be too much for even you to pretend away. He traded the favor of the United States for personal gain. Don't you care?
Nice try, grb, but they are unshakeable in their blind faith.
Citations missing.
it's only make believe
a road less traveled would have been a resolution of censure
a reprimand from Congress requiring only a majority
and a rebuke for behavior deemed reprehensible.
A censure resolution will be offered. I assume that Moscow Mitch will refuse to let it get anywhere within a mile of a vote, to avoid the possibility of Republicans finding their collective spine. Which will be yet another example of Trump (and his political whores) bending over backwards to make Trump look as guilty as possible.
But all that's okay, because something something Obama something something.
Dude, you gotta stop calling women whores....
I think he was referring to clingers, so . . . mostly men.
Kind of like this blog. White. Male.
*gasp* oh no we best do something about that, it's so important
Well, the song is good, even if the commentariat have ... better... things to comment on 🙂
Trump successfully extorted a foreign country into damaging his most likely opponent in the next election.
Now on to Buttigieg . . .
What negative things could Trump possibly say about Buttigieg? Oh! That! You don't really think Trump would go there, do you? Exactly what kind of low-life do you think Trump is?
The Demonrats proved one thing with their vote to convict, they would have voted that way no matter what. There was no reason to think a trial was anything more then a sham. Any fair take on it was that nothing impeachable was proven. But alas all the Dems voted to convict. You could have taken the same vote the day the articles of impeachment arrived before anything was even presented.
The Republicans were right to cut the trial as short as possible. There was no reason to give the D's any more of a venue as required by the Constitution to trash the President. Really though the lesson they should have learned was just to dismiss these outrageous and completely fictional impeachment articles outright without giving the house managers the time of day.
Shame on the treasonous liberals. Their day of reckoning is coming.
Quit with your veiled threats. You're not some dark political prophet, just some Internet Tough Guy underlining his impotence.
Who is threatening anyone?
Treason plus day of reckoning? You are not cleverly hiding much, chief.
You are putting words where none exist. Typical though for the victim class, Chief.
We'll see who's impotent on election day, that's the day of reckoning.
Who knows what Election Day will bring.
I know one thing, though: Maybe don’t throw in with denying his Internet threats guy.
Or maybe don't inflate the words of someone else to portray them in a false light....?
In the articles of impeachment, and in all the arguments made over the course of the Senate trial, insert the name "Clinton" or "Obama" in place of the name Trump. Would that change your view of what the result should have been? Never mind -- I'll just pretend that your answer would be no.
Like Eugene, I am unimpressed, though I suspect it's for different reasons.
Actually, the beauty of Cohen's stanza is that it works regardless of the reasons you're unimpressed.
Noted, Eugene:
You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em....
Bye, Bye, Miss American Pie....
"I'm a fool to do your dirty work, oh yeah, I don't want to do your dirty work no more..." Steely Dan song's been running through my head lately, for some reason.
"This is the end"
"In olden days a glimpse of stocking was looked on as something shocking but now God knows, anything goes!"
"That man is lower than a snake in a wagon's track."
"For the rain, it raineth every day."

Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Nice!
And how many times can a man turn his head
And pretend that he just doesn't see - the answer
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind
I'm guilty, baby I'm guilty
And I'll be guilty all the rest of my life
How come I never do what I'm supposed to do
How come nothin' that I try to do ever turns out right?

Finally! I've been using the name for years. By the way, that ferry was decommissioned a couple years ago. Pity. I also used the name for my dog!
Trying to make some sense of it all
But I can see it makes no sense at all
Is it cool to go to sleep on the floor?
Well, I don't think I can take anymore
Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you....
We are building a religion
We are building it bigger
We are widening the corridors
And adding more lanes
We are building a religion
A limited edition
We are now accepting callers
For these pendant key chains
To resist it is useless
It is useless to resist it
His cigarette is burning
But he never seems to ash
He is grooming his poodle
He is living comfort eagle
You can meet at his location
But you'd better come with cash
Now his hat is on backwards
He can show you his tattoos
He is in the music business
He is calling you "DUDE!"

The wacky morning DJ says democracy's a joke...
I don’t know a soul who’s not been battered
I don’t have a friend who feels at ease
I don’t know a dream that’s not been shattered
Or driven to its knees
Oh, but it’s all right, it’s all right
For we've lived so well so long
Still, when I think of the road
We’re traveling on
I wonder what went wrong
I can’t help it, I wonder what’s gone wrong
. . .
Still tomorrow's gonna be another working day,
And I'm trying to get some rest
That's all I'm trying, to get some rest
Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law
We're leaving together,
But still it's farewell
And maybe we'll come back
To earth, who can tell?
I guess there is no one to blame
We're leaving ground (leaving ground)
Will things ever be the same again?
Steer your heart past the truth
You believed in yesterday
Such as fundamental goodness
And the wisdom of the way
Steer your heart, precious heart
Past the women whom you bought
Year by year
Month by month
Day by day
Thought by thought
Steer your path through the pain
That is far more real than you
That smashed the cosmic model
That blinded every view
And please don't make me go there
Tho' there be a god or not
Year by year
Month by month
Day by day
Thought by thought
This is your time to pay
This is your judgment day
We made a sacrifice
And now we get to take your life
We shoot without a gun
We'll take on anyone
It's really nothing new
It's just a thing we like to do
I fought the law, and the law won.
I am the law so I won.
Everybody knows that the dice are loaded
Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed
Everybody knows the war is over
Everybody knows the good guys lost
Everybody knows the fight was fixed
The poor stay poor, the rich get rich
That's how it goes
Everybody knows
Everybody knows that the boat is leaking
Everybody knows that the captain lied
Everybody got this broken feeling
Like their father or their dog just died
Everybody talking to their pockets
Everybody wants a box of chocolates
And a long-stem rose
Everybody knows
Well done.
All your seasick sailors, they are rowing home
Your empty-handed army is all going home
You lover who just walked out your door
Has taken all his blankets from the floor
The carpet, too, is moving under you
And it's all over now, baby blue
I'm tired,
Tired of playing the game
Ain't it a crying shame
I'm so tired
God dammit I'm exhausted
Sounded like the truth
Seemed the better way
Sounded like the truth
But it's not the truth today
I better hold my tongue
I better take my place
Lift this glass of blood
Try to say the grace
Good too!

Well, another crazy day
You'll drink the night away
And forget about everything
This city desert makes you feel so cold
It's got so many people, but it's got no soul
And it's taken you so long
To find out you were wrong
When you thought it held everything
You used to think that it was so easy
You used to say that it was so easy
But you're trying, you're trying now
Another year and then you'd be happy
Just one more year and then you'd be happy
But you're crying, you're crying now
Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There's a battle outside
And it is ragin'
It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'
Keeping with the Leonard Cohen theme:
When they said, "repent, repent, repent"
I wonder what they meant.
It's a restless hungry feeling
That don't mean no one no good
When ev'rything I'm a-sayin'
You can say it just as good
You're right from your side
I'm right from mine
We're both just too many mornings
An' a thousand miles behind.
Our universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding,
In all of the directions it can whiz;
As fast as it can go, at the speed of light, you know,
Twelve million miles a minute and that's the fastest speed there is.
So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure,
How amazingly unlikely is your birth;
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere out in space,
'Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth!
'Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then"

Are you satisfied?
Dig for gold, dig for fame
You dig to make your name
Are you pacified?
All the wants you waste
All the things you've chased
Then it all crashes down
And you break your crown
And you point your finger
But there's no one around
Just want one thing
Just to play the king
But the castle's crumbled
And you're left with just a name
Where's your crown King Romney?
Where's your crown?
Fleet of black, fleet of black limousines
These tinted machines, here comes the cavalcade

Blue eyed boy, United States
Vote for him, the candidate

Killing in the name of...
Killing in the name of...
Now you do what they told ya
All around the mulberry bush
The monkey chased the weasel
The monkey thought 'twas all in fun
Pop!* goes the weasel
* trigger-warning
I read about some squirrely guy,
Who claims, he just don't believe in fightin'.
An' I wonder just how long,
The rest of us can count on bein' free.
They love our milk an' honey,
But they preach about some other way of livin'.
When they're runnin' down my country, hoss,
They're walkin' on the fightin' side of me.
Give Peace a Chance
Let me ask you one question
Is your money that good
Will it buy you forgiveness
Do you think that it could
I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
All the money you made
Will never buy back your soul
I've been running through these promises to you
That I made and I could not keep
We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song
The change, it had to come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from the fold, that's all
And the world looks just the same
And history ain't changed
'Cause the banners, they are flown in the last war
There's nothing in the streets
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by the bye
And a parting on the left
Is now a parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight
America, fuck yeah!
Comin' again to save the motherfuckin' day, yeah
America, fuck Yeah!
Freedom is the only way, yeah
Terrorists, your game is through
'Cause now you have ta answer to
America, fuck yeah!
So lick my butt and suck on my balls
America, fuck yeah!
Whatcha' gonna do when we come for you now
It's the dream that we all share
It's the hope for tomorrow
(Fuck Yeah!)
This part's over so get the fuck out- skid row
I never knew a man
Could tell so many lies
He had a different story
For every set of eyes
How can he remember
Who he's talkin' to?
'Cause I know it ain't me
And I hope it isn't you
The night was wild and wooly
Didn't think I'd make it through it
'Cause loving you's a dirty job
And I'm the man to do it
/Handel
I, and I myself alone,
Realize I never need to use noone.
Money, Power, Holy Roads,
Freedom puts my faith in None of the Above.
(Duran Duran, "None of the Above")
It says in this book here that God made us just like him
So if we are dumb
Then God must be Dumb
And maybe even a little ugly on the the Side
Dumb all over
A little ugly on the side

My, oh my, what a wonderful day
Plenty of sunshine headin' my way
Wonderful feeling, wonderful day
When I walk down the streets,
Kings and Queens step aside.
Every woman I meet…
They all stay satisfied.
I wanna tell ya nasty Nancy,
What I see I make my own.
I'm here to tell ya Nasty Thing
That I'm bad to the bone!
Bad to the bone!
B-B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-Bad
BAD TO THE BONE!
Shot down in flames
Shot down in flames
Ain't it a shame
To be shot down in flames

Now to all the Republicans who helped me to win
I'd sincerely like to thank ya
'Cause now I've got the world swingin' from my nuts
Damn, it feels good to be a gangsta
/Ludwig van Beethoven
I'm the pinnacle; that means I reign supreme
And I'm notorious; I'll crush you like a jellybean!
I'm bad
/Hector Berlioz
Oh, you're so condescending, your gall is never ending
We don't want nothing, not a thing, from you
Your life is trite and jaded, boring and confiscated
If that's your best, your best won't do
/Antonio Vivaldi
I've got money like Charles Dickens
I got the girlies in the Coupe like the Colonel's got the chickens
And I always go out dapper like Harry S.Truman
I'm madder than Mad's Alfred E. Newman

Take it easy 😉
