Don't use Facebook to sell moonshine
Can that be turned into a country-western song? WFTV has the details:
Deputies got a tip that Alton Trowell, 31, was selling the alcohol on his Facebook page.
This illustrates the difference between friends and "friends."
An undercover detective contacted Trowell through Facebook, but ended up speaking to Trowel's live-in girlfriend, Christie Comkowycz, 31. She offered the detective 192-proof grain alcohol for $20 a pint, deputies said.
Trowell had apparently been arrested "on unrelated drug charges," so Comkowycz was allegedly using Trowell's page to sell the alcohol and raise money for bail.
Thanks to Christopher Coble (FindLaw's Legally Weird) for the pointer.
