And Inigo Montoya would have been looking for the seven-fingered man. That's my other response to Neil deGrasse Tyson's tweet, "If we had 12 fingers, I wonder whether the Bill of Rights … would have been 12 amendments long." (For a more substantive point about the first set of amendments, see this post. And, yes, I realize that if we had twelve fingers, ten and eleven would likely be represented by special characters, not A and B; the A is just a little computer programming twist on the underlying math joke.)
