  The fact is that a lot of people still do need to be told that. And I think Prasad is a very good person to tell them. He's definitely a lefty politically, and he would like to be able to trust public health (not a big positive in my book, but it is for a lot of people). But he has been honest and unwilling to compromise on science and data and willing to say exactly what he means. If he can't convince people on the left then no one can.

If the CDC would just stick to detecting and monitoring incoming acute threats to the public health, it might be pretty good at it. But once they started wasting resources on advising us to lose weight, stop eating meat and eggs, control our blood pressures and avoid jumping out of perfectly good airplanes, it doomed both their credibility and their effectiveness. The Public Health Service used to have a good reputation for responding to outbreaks and intervening and mitigating the public health fallout. Some very heroic peeps have earned well-deserved medals for their putting themselves into harm's way to save lives. Now that good will has been squandered for a cheap political narrative. Very sad ...

Here on Planet Earth, sometimes called the Kingdom of Primates, trust is based on family and tribal affiliation, given to preferred authorities, reinforced by religious indoctrination, and modified for expediency and lust. It's really interesting to see the people like Prasad who are definitely of the political left and believe that good government is a sensible proposition, but have noticed how fucked the public health establishment is and how terribly they have handled all things covid. Dr. John Campbell is another good one in the same vein who posts frequently on YouTube. It's been really something to see how his perspective has changed over the past year or so.
It's really fucking sad that it's a remarkable thing to see a few people honestly assessing the evidence.

  BTW, some (lemme think...) 35 years ago, I'd acquired a specific historical artifact. A friend at the time was a 'stringer' for several magazines wanted to do a feature on it for one of them.
  No problem at this end, but after he filed it (phones at the time) got a call from the 'fact-checker' at the magazine who enquired regarding the provenance.
  She (yes) got chapter-and-verse (titles, authors, page numbers (X at least 5 or 6), until she seemed satisfied.
  I got a courtesy issue of the magazine (not a subscriber); they got my name right.

I haven't trusted the health establishment ever, and it drives my doctors nuts. I only go to get a diagnosis and options, I decide what I will or will not do. It drives doctors crazy, they think they are dictators and you have to follow their recommendations. I study the subject and decide myself. I refuse to take statins, refused and the new 'better" covid jab. I refused the old mRNA jab too. It is your life, you are in control. I have even "fired" my doctor, and told them exactly that and why. I will not be bullied or lied too.

Another client had recd 22 yrs of Health system abuse and needed three hours. They had told him he was 'Psychotic' and that he could be killed the buried in the grounds cos the public thought he was ill and therefore would not interfere.We were told by NHS that they had no one with our skills and that we had to accept £160.000. Within two months the system cut off comms and phones hung up. We were told not to do the work because we were affecting jobs within the system We then found out there was a scheme to use vulnerable people as cheap labour. We also found out that the Private Med insurance firms had a policy of using incompetent clinicians to appease the Govt but, it took us ten yrs to find out that behind the scam was 17 universities aligned with drug companies. We began to experience Police attacks and death threats. Our cars had windows smashed and they sent funeral services round. We circumvented it by pretending to be religious. This convinced the police that we were corrupt like them which meant that we would not 'blab re the deaths caused there. We went to a public meeting at the Hosp and found a Councillor sitting on the board. he knew nothing about M-H so was ideal as a committee member. We were very alarmed because they sat there whispering. We then began to experience Police attacks.

We only have pick axe handles. my family came here to escape certain death after hiding from Soviets and 3rd Reich. We came with two suitcases and 80 yrs old granma. We did not know English language.
