Lost: An Economic Crisis
'Lost: An Economic Crisis' is my senior project film I completed as a student of Film and Video Studies at George Mason University. The film follows a post-graduate student who must now try to make a living during the late 2000's American recession. Along with her story, interviews from a History Professor and an Economic Specialist help reveal what were the causes of the recession and how Japan went through a similar situation in 1989. Is economic history fated to repeat itself? Or are there ways to better overcome a recession? My film touches on these questions and explores what else is 'lost' in a economic crisis.
