Since August, the number of stories she's written for Reason dropped off. As for others, anyone not at the cool kids table is at risk. And honestly, Reason is a stepping stone, not a career destination. There's better money and bigger audiences elsewhere.

1. My favorite heel lost her "Loser Leaves Town Match" with Robert Poole so she got fired and is going to another promotion, like maybe Niskanen.

2. Maybe "Senior Analyst at the Reason Foundation" has actual job responsibilities beyond writing occasional troll content for the website and Shikha slacked off during the "work at home" era. That sounds like a near to 6 figure+ job title and I can't imagine just phoning in "Orange Man Bad" gets the job done.
