Greg Gutfeld Is Done With Politics and Ready To Drop Acid
The Fox News star talks about Donald Trump, the 2020 election, the end of politics, and why he's ready for a whole new reality.

Nick Gillespie goes deep with Greg Gutfeld, the best-selling author who is the host of The Greg Gutfeld Show and a co-host of The Five, both of which appear on Fox News Channel.
Gutfeld is a very funny, contrarian, iconoclastic voice with libertarian leanings. The discussion covers Donald Trump and the 2020 election, Gutfeld's early days in the print media (at various points, he edited magazines such as Men's Health and Maxim UK), his time writing at The Huffington Post and his friendship with the late alternative media kingpin Andrew Breitbart, his abiding interest in all sorts of music, and why he's increasingly interested in taking psychedelic drugs. It's a wide-ranging, laugh-out-loud conversation that covers a hell of a lot of territory.
Audio production by Ian Keyser and Regan Taylor.

Greg Gutfeld Is Done With Politics
Yeah, sure he is.
He is so done with politics, he is going to spend all of his time explaining why he is done with politics.
That is not how this is supposed to work.
He'll drop some acid and it will be politics, but with colors.
Listening to a Trump rally on acid would be hilarious
Someone needs to make psychedelic MAGA hats.
Rainbow MAGA hats.
Make America Trip Again
Listening to a Harris or Warren rally on acid would be terrifying. Even without drugs I get an insects-crawling-in-my-skin vibe from those two.
It's the insects inside THEIR skins we need to fear.
You know who else is funny and has libertarian leanings?
Mike Hihn?
Funny as in HaHa, not funny as in what-the-fuck.
Fist?
Me?
IowaHawk?
Let's see...Mexicans...butt sex...pot...Gabriel Iglesias?
Sounds like a plan. Who's got the acid?
I don't get media people. If he wants to take acid, why not just do it? What is the point of making a big deal about wanting to do it?
Because he's media people and otherwise he'd have to get a real job?
I guess so. I would take the acid and then tell people about it. That sounds a lot more interesting than listening to someone say they want to do it.
I'm with you there.
What else are media people going to talk about?
Is it possible to drop acid and still be a Trump supporter? I am genuinely interested in hearing from someone that dropped acid post-2016 and loves Trump.
I don't drop acid and I don't love any politician. But why would who you vote for make any difference in whether you could drop acid?
Dropping acid does seem to allow you to expand your perspectives (not in some cosmic jive way). But to answer Chipper, I know people who trip and like Trump.
Yeah, I could see it going either way. The whole phenomenon of Trump is pretty trippy, really. While it can be quite mind expanding, you're still starting from where you are at now.
Fair enough
Greg seems fun I'd drop w/him.
And Kat Timpf is on his show.
i mean bring her yeah ... i try to keep it clean here ... for the kids
I can think of a use or two for those giant geek glasses she is always wearing.
A blonde libertarian woman who's into reptiles...it's like I've already dropped the acid.
No snake chicks for me. I can take a lot of crazy and a lot of freaky, but no snakes.
The snakes are probably just part of her religion. Timpf is a Hillsdale grad.
She's also an atheist, genius.
There is no BJ like having your dick swallowed by a giant snake.
yeah dude no intoxicants necessary.
Any chick into reptiles that isn't a biker is a big turn on.
Dare I ask what her being "into reptiles" consists of?
"I love the sexy slither of a lady snake"
I thought the lizards are what you saw after you dropped acid.
"Gutfeld is a very funny, contrarian, iconoclastic voice with libertarian leanings."
His libertarian leanings are not that great IMHO but @Reason loves to paint everyone as having libertarian leanings
He hosted a show that was on at like 2 in the morning on Fox. What is supposed to be Libertarian about him? I honestly don't know.
10 PM on Saturdays.
That shows what i know about him. Even as old and lame as I am, I have better things to do on Saturday nights at 10 than watch a cable news show. He must have had a huge following among incels.
Some of non-incels have DVR.
Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld. Great show up until he left to do The Five and The Greg Gutfeld Show.
The GWAR interviews were hilarious.
He can exchange notes with Dan Rather about the respective benefits of acid-dropping and glue-sniffing.
(Just kidding, Rather is just naturally the way he is)
If he is funny in this interview even once I will saw off my left leg and eat it.
So...
I would settle with you just drinking a pint of Drano.
Never heard of him.
he's increasingly interested in taking psychedelic drugs
1966 called - it wants it's edgy posturing back.
Hopefully he’ll overdose and then we’ll be sure he won’t be talking about politics. But with acid that’ll be tough. Greg, my man, oxy is way better!
His interviews with Oderous Urangus ( Dave Brockie) of GWAR on Red Eye were priceless. Damn, I miss those!
And here I was looking forward to never seeing him again.
Interesting and enjoyable interview. He insights on President Trump are quite unbelievable. That all we had to do for N. Korea was talk like a businessman and the problem would go away. Question is which party got sold a bill of nothing. Wonder why in discussing candidates Pete Buttigieg was never mentioned? Covered candidates all around him but neither Nick or Greg brought up Pete's name.
