The Mueller Media Hall of Shame: Podcast
Whose hysteria looks silliest in retrospect?

"While this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime," Robert Mueller's long-awaited homework stated, according to Atttorney General William Barr, "it also does not exonerate him." To which Donald Trump has predictably responded: "Total exoneration!"
The president may stand out from the crowd in the amount of power he wields, but he's hardly alone in talking bollocks about the Trump/Russia investigation, as we discuss on today's Editors' Roundtable edition of the Reason Podcast. Nick Gillespie, Peter Suderman, me, and special guest star Elizabeth Nolan Brown each make their own nominations for the Mueller media Hall of Shame, track how the #Resistance goalposts keep shifting, and ding the president's own (non-criminal) behavior. Along the way, we hear the latest in the non-sex-trafficking case of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, do a little oh-yeah-that about the record-breaking budget deficit, and dissect the C.H.U.D.ian subtexts of Us.

Will you guys be discussing your own failings and conspiracy mongering on this topic or are we just going to memory hole that?
Newly woke Welch should listen to pre-woke Welch.
http://www.latimes.com/opinion/op-ed/.....story.html
"The institutions that Trump disdains are now watching his every move. He will lash back, fire people, write dumb tweets, attempt to influence things he should not. But if that is all he does, and there no secret corruption or financial ties exist underneath all that squirrelly behavior by administration incompetents, then seizing on those mistakes to prematurely end even the most distasteful of presidencies would come with real danger.
The country is in a kind of emotional state of hyper division that most Americans have never experienced. If people vote for a president to confront the establishment they despise, and then that establishment forces him out on ticky-tack fouls, we may look back on 2016 as a high-water mark in comity."
That's a great picture at your link. Talking Head indeed
What the fuck is so terrible about any of that? The predictions were more or less true, the if was listed as an if.
There's lots worse actual TDS around.
Yeah, Reason has almost always been the "everybody calm the fuck down" police with this and most stories. The "Trump is a liar but probably didn't do anything criminal" has been the general Reason approach from the start.
Google is now paying $17000 to $22000 per month for working online from home. I have joined this job 2 months ago and i have earned $20544 in my first month from this job. I can say my life is changed-completely for the better! Check it out whaat i do.....

None of it is terrible. But look at the date on the article. He is saying the current version of Welch should listen to the older version.
That is not the article that I was criticizing. Welch was right, but that article was written before the front page cover article about sanctioning Russia for lolz or the Thai sex worker who held the key to collusion articles
"Both sides!" - t. Matt Welch
"me"
Really Matt? I don't even have a degree and I know you fucked that up.
Trump is simply a cheezy salesman -- some people are amused by it, others are repulsed while most of his backers are anti-Democrat and don't give a shit about his style. Not much analysis is needed.
This deserves at least an honorable mention.
How can anybody possibly compete with Rachel Maddow for the lifetime achievement award in the Mueller Media Hall of Shame?
And she's not done yet!
Remember her "I have Trump's tax returns!" episode, where in the end she found out that..........Trump pays taxes.
And at a higher rate than Biden and Obama.
That's Rachel "Alex Jones" Maddow to you, sir.
Watching her slowly become the thing she claims to hate has been a lot of fun.
She use to be good. She was one of the few partisans who knocked the Obama administration (during his term) for his drone program, especially when his attorney general argued that the president had the authority to compile a secret "kill list" without oversight from Congress or the judiciary.
Trump broke her, I guess
Imagine if she had just focused on knocking Trump for the same drone program rather than running with a wild conspiracy theory.
Madcow fellated Obama nightly. What the hell were you watching?
Nick Sarwark must be one of her acolytes because he thought it was fitting to argue with Massie about obstruction of justice all of a sudden now.
http://www.twitter.com/RepThomasMassi.....9711537153
"@nsarwark Do you believe that Obstruction of Justice charges should still be valid against a defendent who is determined to be innocent of the original charge? That's a dangerously illiberal postion for the Libertarian Party Chair."
The Net is closing.
Suderman fell for the most obviously made up horseshit story in the entire retarded charade. (Manafort's secret meetings with Assange)
I dunno. Seems kind of...Collusion-y. Collusion-ish. Collusion-esque. Collusion-adjacent.
Suderman has appearances to keep up.
I think he just says whatever his Amazon wife tells him to.
I like McArdle, Suderman routinely apes her entire schtick and waters it down with retard.
Defend this shit.
research into race and IQ should stay off limits
She says this while being paid to promote policies that are heavily bolstered by the status quo opinion of that topic.
That's because people who are wrong and know it don't like studies that promise to let everyone else know it too.
Research into race and IQ gets dicey quick. Mostly because of the type of crowd it draws in, how they define race, how they define IQ, how the conclusions are improperly used to justify retarded ethno-nationalist policies and how they are largely irrelevant for any purpose.
how they define race, how they define IQ
LMFAO nevermind
Yeah I agree with IH.
Know your history.
Any benefits are far outweighed by the repercussions.
Most exonerationest exoneration in history!
I've changed my opinion on one thing since Friday. Before, I didn't think the Russia-gate blathering media believed their own bullshit. Now that I've seen their collective reaction, I'm beginning to think they did actually believe it.
I'm not sure which is more sad.
That they actually believed it. But they didn't. They are liars and deserve no benefit of the doubt.
There's a reason everyone has been calling it TDS. Folks in the media lost all their functioning brain cells when he got elected.
They've always been this dumb. They just feel like they can take their masks off with regard to trump. All the cards are on the table.
Pulitzer prizes were given for the collusion investigations. Just think about that.
Let's hope they are radioactive or able to be detonated remotely.
God bless Iowahawk.
He's a genius.
Suderman is so pathetic. He can't help but show off his TDS even as his whole political worldview has fallen apart. The guy needs therapy.
If there's anyone at Reason needs to apologize, it's that moron
Jesus he's awful. Listening now.
Everyone on that podcast has severe TDS besides maybe Nick and they're pretending like they've been on the side of reason this whole time.
Suderman detracts from the Reason podcast every time. He interrupts with witless comments. His only use is for pop culture, and that should be only 5 mins of the 60 min gabfest.
KMW - I beg you to ditch that fool.
If the report exonerates Trump let's see it. Prove it by showing us. Mueller was supposed to find out "any coordination or cooperation" not simply the kind that rises to the level of a criminal conspiracy. We need to see the actual report. Y'all can talk your shit after it's released.
Starting to think all that "sources and methods" talk from your side wasn't genuine.
Show it all to Congress as they do with all classified information. I trust my reps, well, not my actual reps, to tell me the gist of things. There's no two ways about it. If Trump was cleared we have to see the factual and logically basis. The investigation was a counter intelligence investigation as much as criminal one and those investigations are always shared with Congress so that public policy can be informed by our high powered spy craft. There is no real argument from Republicans against releasing the whole it especially after the House was unanimous in voting for release. Trump says he wants it all released which means he doesn't want it released.
nah
Ordinary Person|3.25.19 @ 7:26PM|#
"Show it all to Congress as they do with all classified information."
Fuck off, you pathetic piece of shit. If it found Trump could walk on water, you'd have your keyboard covered with spittle claiming he couldn't swim.
Just fuck off and die.
Why do you continue to go full retard?
Collusion is designed to look like there is no collusion. Think about it...
Pardon me if you've seen this before...
Donald Trump is Finished !!!
BOMBSHELL !!!!
The Walls are Closing in on him !!!

It's the beginning of the end!!!!!!!!!
Trump. A bone-spurred coward calling a war hero names, looking like -- at best -- the guiltiest-looking innocent man since O.J.?
Of course, for Trump and his slackjaw followers, that is just another day in deplorable America.
"Trump. A bone-spurred coward calling a war hero names, looking like -- at best -- the guiltiest-looking innocent man since O.J.?"
Asshole, you mean pointing out that McCain was a piece of shit even after the piece of shit died?
Oh, and your opinion of some appearance might have value to your mom, but she's as retarded as you.
The enlightened Kirkland defending war monger McCain. A man with the deaths of tens of thousands of brown people on his hands.
Maybe McCain was a decent human being at one point, though I doubt it. Either way, while it is hard for a bad man to turn good, it is easy for a good man to turn bad.
I basically make about $6,000-$8,000 a month online. It's enough to comfortably replace my old jobs income, especially considering I only work about 10-13 hours a week from home. I was amazed how easy it was after I tried it?

Just listening now. I'm late to the party but this is shitshow dumpster fire landmine abortion of garbage. Possibly the absolute worst Reason podcast in living memory. KMW barred from participating because she might actually push back and balance out the TDS and "editors" yelling over each other? Sometimes I imagine Welchie Boy with Suderman in a headlock saying "stop hitting yourself Suderpants! Stop hitting yourself!"
It does settle down a bit once they start talking about the (total lack of) sex trafficking.
Yeah, ENB is great. Replace that cunt suderman with a real woman.

Start working at home with Google! It's by-far the best job I've had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail.
