Camille Paglia's Epic Anti-Hillary Rant
FULL INTERVIEW HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88_3A…
Growing up as "a gender nonconforming entity" during Eisenhower's America wasn't easy for cultural critic and best-selling author Camille Paglia. Her adolescence in small-town, upstate New York was marked by rejection, rebellion, and cross-dressing—all in reaction to the stultifying social norms of the 1950s and early '60s.
So what does Paglia think of contemporary culture, with its openness to a wide variety of ever-proliferating gender, racial, and sexual identities?
Not much.
"I do not feel that gender is sufficient to explain all of human life," Paglia tells Reason TV's Nick Gillespie. "This gender myopia, this gender monomania, has become a disease. It's become a substitute for religion. It is impossible that the feminist agenda can ever be the total explanation of human life."
Whether the subject is feminism or the fate of Western civilization, Paglia is no Pollyanna. In this wide-ranging discussion, she says higher education is going to hell, the Fourth Estate is an epic FAIL, millennials are myopic, contemporary criticism has croaked, and Hillary Clinton might singlehandedly destroy the universe. Even Madonna, once Paglia's ideal of sex-positive feminism, seems to have lost her way.
Does the celebrated author of Sexual Personae and Break Blow Burn have any reason to get out of bed in the morning? Does she have any hope for the universe at all?

Nick, your laugh at the end is perfect.
I make up to $90 an hour working from my home. My story is that I quit working at Walmart to work online and with a little effort I easily bring in around $40h to $86h? Someone was good to me by sharing this link with me, so now i am hoping i could help someone else out there by sharing this link… Try it, you won’t regret it!……

Holy shit can that woman talk! She took one breath te entire 58 minutes! Nick got about 3 questions in, I kept expecting him to take the jacket off and cover her head with it to try to get that bird to go to sleep. I’m impressed.
Finally! A “word of the day” calendar that has “Myopic”!
I was quite taken aback when feminists threw out everything to back Bill Clinton back in the day. It was very eye-opening.
If you had become a Democrat, you, too, would benefit from the one-grope rule rather than having to use your simian forebrain about when it’s appropriate to cigar-diddle the intern.
It is not a bad deal if you are a groper or other such deviant. Just be a democrat and firm supporter of state funded abortion on demand and all will be forgiven.
If Hollywood had any balls, they could make a devastating black comedy about a progressive “feminist” male politician who raped and murdered women and yet had an army of defenders covering it up or excusing it.
Isn’t that House of Cards?
Haven’t seen it.
No I think that’s Lilith Fair.
Yeah, but none of supporters, other than Stamper, really knows he’s a murderer, and only one or two on the lunatic fringe even suspect it.
With Clinton, they all knew that he is a lying and philandering scoundrel. And they loved him and still love him.
That only works if you’re a president, or in another seriously powerful position.
It doesn’t work for Democratic peons. However, bad behavior of certain victim groups often gets because of their history of oppression.
I was quite taken aback when feminists threw out everything to back Bill Clinton back in the day. It was very eye-opening.
I was taken aback when a LOT of people threw out everything to back Bill Clinton. I wasn’t even really political in 1991-92. The whole thing was very eye-opening, especially after Reagan/Bush.
To give a specific example, before 1992, I honestly believed that the larger media existed to challenge power. I was not a Reagan supporter per se, but I believed that the relentless attacks on the presidency were part-in-parcel of the media’s role in challenging power. That naive view changed after 1992.
I had that revelation at about the same time.
This is a bitter, old school, boomer leftist grudge. Hillary and Paglia are of the same generation and both from the same sort of elite academic background. This is one of thus sort of brutal nasty grudge matches that can only occur between family members.
I haven’t read any book-length tracts from Paglia, but I can say that she is NOT your typical feminist. Hillary leans more typical.
Take one Paglia, add some Hillary, and you get a Drudge link. Guaranteed.
Tony has a sad now. I hope you big meanies are happy now.
I think I found Tony’s Instagram Page
fixed link
Holy cow. You really did. You magnificent bastard, you did it.
Now I need to see Nick interview Hillary to get the other side of the story about her cornpone husband.
We got it all throughout the 90s from the media.
