Ferguson Grand Jury Decision Sparks White House Protest

In the hours following the decision not to indict Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson for the fatal shooting of Michael Brown, several hundred protesters gathered at the gates of the North Lawn of the White House. Many protesters were university students who came to vent their anger, gather momentum for future demonstrations, and send a loud message to President Obama. A few were confrontational. But there was no violence, and the police response was restrained.

I truly believe that the Darren Wilson probably tried to Apprehend Mike Brown from the Car. Mike Brown put up a fight and that is how he got shot. I don't believe that Mike Brown simply walked over to the car and tried to Kill Darren Wilson.

I believe this was Malpractice on the Part of Darren Wilson.

There's no clear evidence that Officer Darren Wilson is a Big Racist.
There is clear evidence that Mike Brown is a THUG. He robbed the grocery store and bullied and pushed around a clerk that was much smaller than him.

No one deserves to be killed by police. Nevertheless, had he not been THUG-ing he'd be alive.

All of these protesters on TV are pretty much mourning a THUG.

Cops are trained to be confrontational now.They move quickly to use force even in trivial matters.It's a us against them mentality. By the way this was handled ,we will never know the truth.

It's the "Broken Window Policing" thing. I'm very much against it. Yes, enforcing minor crimes does render in finding outstanding warrants (mainly, for other minor offenses). However, the opportunity cost of this approach to policing is losing the positive relationship with the community as now you increase the NEGATIVE contacts with police. Which I think the Price paid for Broken Window Policing is WAY TOO HIGH !!!

It seems that if you didn't want a riot speed would have been their ally.Let the verdict out quickly ,during the day.Do it before crowds gather.Instead they wait hours,let the tension build and wait till dark.They were asking for a riot.The verdict maybe be right,but,the actions of the police and D.A. since the start shows big problems in this town. They eve managed to make the grand jury look rigged.

Fuck. Seinfeld was a show about nothing - this was a protest and looting and vandalism about nothing, and nothing good or positive will come from it.

Mike Brown's dead and Darren Wilson's life is ruined. Make a nice high school tragedy for drama class.

Do you know how hard it is to keep up with such a nuanced and deep action/drama like SCORPION is? And when you interrupt it, it becomes almost impossible.

I never thought that I would see a show worse than Hawaii 5-0 in my lifetime. Then the greatness that is Scorpion shows up and shows us that the major networks have the technology to break through rock bottom and give us a show that is so horrendously bad that it is the one show my son and I have to watch each week.

What makes it better is that before the pilot, the real Walter O'Brien was on some podcasts I listen to and he was such a pompous ass that it makes the show funnier. According to him, he is a technical consultant who makes sure the show is accurate. Then you watch the show and it gets everything wrong.

Of course there are haters out there who just can't deal with Walter's brilliance...
