After protestors in Ferguson, Missouri, were met with a militarized police force, new attention was brought to the Pentagon's 1033 program, a program that supplies military-grade equipment to local police departments, often for free. FFS, at least wear the uniform correctly. Also, an M113 is not a tank, it's an APC.
Clearly, he failed to accomplish his goal of engendering respect for a military establishment that parcels out military equipment to civilian LEOs.
