The Sibelius comments at about 05:20 or so are precisely the earmarks of management incompetence and a great justification for firing her.
A REAL program management team would have not accepted changing specifications late in a delivery schedule, REAL users, both experienced AND na?ve, should have been among the cohort doing the early testing, and not just prior to release.
Next, a brighter than average moron would know that, with all the advertising and push about the system going on-line, there would be a rush of users which might peak shortly after launch and then settle down to some "running average" over the coming months and years.
That moron would have rented a ton of compute power with a short-term contract to provide the throughput needed at launch and then cut back the compute power as the real load settled down.
Claiming that the Presidebt didn't know about the issues is pretty much an indictment of the lousy management running the circus.
I'm embarrassed for the country and shamed by the incompetence. But hell, it's been rampant at virtually all levels of business and government for decades.
Try moving to Baltimore where I live; the only thing they seem to be competent about is being incompetent. You've gotta read about it to believe it. PS: did I mention that the city is registered about 90% Democrat; Maryland State is high D also. Not that the Repubs are any better.
Yes, because 1) any executive that doesn't demand to stay in the loop is either naive or incompetent; and 2) any subordinate who keeps such important information from said executive is either lazy or incompetent.
But, we all know that the president DID know, they are just protecting him from himself.
