Wait... let me guess... you want people to establish worker's cooperatives but can't stand the fact that Worker's Co-ops are capitalistic?

Your deep irrational hatred of capitalism and economic illiteracy is so bad, I suggest you read up on how worker's co-operatives function. I'm guessing they would more or less achieve the goals you're aiming for. Also as a bonus, just like with anarcho-syndicalists you can keep your anti-capitalist prejudices and pretend worker's coops aren't another variation of free market capitalism but somehow better because everyone's an owner and profits, losses and decision-making are shared equally, which sounds socialist enough for some people to forget that every worker in a Worker's Co-operative is in theory a capitalist.

Can we learn to distribute our goods and services according to need (on an ongoing basis) rather than by the ability to pay? Why not? Poverty and materialism will be eliminated!

How do you know that "[p]overty and materialism will be eliminated!" How does it follow that eliminating one of the greatest inventions of civilization (money) will eliminate poverty or materialism.

Poverty has always been with us, but it is greatly reduced in the most advanced societies which, it seems, you'd like to send reeling back to the days of barter.

And who are you to say that materialism is bad. I might agree with you, but I don't agree with your notion that we tell people just which ism they can and cannot subscribe to.
