Kickstart Government Twitter Accounts: Uncle Sam Needs Your Help!
By now, you've probably heard about the government #shutdown. Many nonessential workers have been furloughed, monuments have been closed and the panda cam has been turned off. But that's not the worst of it. Government run twitter accounts have been shut down because they require lots of resources that have been put on ice, like hashtag experts!
So help ReasonTV kickstart official government twitter accounts now. We are trying to raise $300,000,000 to cover the salaries of all 3,000 public affairs employees making an average salary of $98,000. Prizes are as follows:
$15- Personalized thank you tweet!
$50- "I Heart My Big Government" T-Shirt!
$100- IRS Tax Deduction!
$20,000- A bailout!
