Jesse Walker on "The United States of Paranoia"
A talk in Las Vegas.
"[Conspiracy theories] are not just a colorful byway, they are at [America's] core," explains Jesse Walker, Reason books editor and author of The United States of Paranoia: A Conspiracy Theory. Walker discussed America's long fascination with conspiracies during a presentation at this year's FreedomFest.
Held each July in Las Vegas, FreedomFest is attended by around 2,000 limited-government enthusiasts. ReasonTV spoke with over two dozen speakers and attendees and will be releasing interviews over the coming weeks.
