BitcoinStore.com: A Young Entrepreneur Talks Real World Uses

"A lot of people think it's basically digital gold because it's so scarce, it holds value well, and you can transfer it instantly," says BitcoinStore.com's Jon Holmquist.
Holmquist sat down with ReasonTV's Tracy Oppenheimer to discuss Bitcoin's practical current uses in the retail market and what the future of an electronic currency supported economy could look like.
"It's a lot cheaper. You don't have to pay the middleman whether it be payment processors, banks, governments," says Holmquist, "it opens up a lot of global trade that can happen."

Why must Tracy make this blog a house of lies?
Tracy can do whatever Tracy wants.
Grayson. I agree that Eddie`s bl0g is great... I just got Land Rover Defender since I been bringin in $7002 this past 4 weeks and just a little over 10/k lass-month. this is certainly the coolest job I've ever had. I started this three months/ago and immediately began to bring in more than $85, per/hr. I follow the details on this straightforward website.... grand4.com

Eddie's bl0g is chocked full of Tony's dick picks. I don't appreciate the ruse, bro.
A marketing director who doesn't wear a tie? I've never seen Jack Lew without a tie, so I'll pass.
Ties are just a fad. The cravat is coming back any year now.
Ascot, nothing will eclipse the ascot.
The "bolo" tie. Nice hand wrought silver ones with plenty of turquoise.
I can't pull it off in plainclothes, but if you're involved with Boy Scouting at all I highly recommend the bolo in place of the neckerchief.
The bolo tie also looks great on Mexican drug lords.
Florida schools allow security company to iris scan students
Don't know if Reason covered this or not, I don't remember seeing it
Yeah, I heard about that yesterday. That's messed up. It can't be undone either. Those iris scans will always be in a government database.
BitCoin wont be around for long. Look at E-Gold, LIberty Reserve, its just a matter of time.

That kid basically said the same thing. That it's not the end product but digital currency is coming.
It's already been around longer than many expected it would.
Nevertheless, any currency that facilitates, to any degree, unrestricted and unregulated free trade that's difficult to surveil is a positive thing.

For a Sunday dose of irony, the guy who writes this drek appears in the business section of the Chron.
Hi Tracy and Jon,
What causes the price of a Bitcoin to be where it is today?
Supply and demand?
Just like a real-life manipulation-free economy.
Day 3 of regionals here we come. My Owls are in the drivers seat after a complete game 2-hit shutout.
I'm so excited.
I choose to believe this isn't sarcasm.
Choose away.
Sarcasm? Here? Sir, you cut me to the quick.
And you just can't hide it?
Now, I'm seriously excited. Did I really see her vajajay at 56 seconds in?
Interesting live Tweet feed of Turkish protests.
There are many headscarved women among the protesting groups but they are mostly Arab tourists.
Now crowd chanting "we are all grandchildren of the drunk," probably referring to Ataturk. (Hepimiz ayya??n torunlar?y?z).
Another oft-cited slogan is "Fa?iste kar?? omuz-omuza." (In solidarity against the fascist[Erdogan]).
The best thing about Turkish writing is how some of the letters have those cool little tails. ????
EVRYBODY NOES BITCOIN IS FOR CHILD PORNIFICATORS, WHAKED OUT METH HEDS AND MOINY LANDERRS!!!!!!!!

Interesting. Seems like that could be a really cool place. If only they had a really strong, charismatic leader that had some sort of final solution to deal with those leftist May Day radicals.
You know who was strong charismatic leader with a final solution for leftists?
FDR?
my buddy's aunt makes $76 every hour on the computer. She has been out of a job for seven months but last month her check was $14817 just working on the computer for a few hours. Read more here... http://www.Taz1.com
Is she from Nigeria?
When doing business online with Nigerians, be certain only to deal with princes to receive the best deals.
No, she's the one with the webcam of her toothy vagina.
No mention of the breaking news story from mid-May concerning DHS' seizure of the largest Bitcoin exchange, Mt. Gox.
DHS can't seize Mt Gox. they are located in Japan. Mt Gox got hit with a series of DDoS attacks which shut them down for a while.
Apparently I should have read the article more carefully.
Homeland Security seizes account of largest Bitcoin exchange, Mt. Gox
My comment should have read:
"No mention of the breaking news story from mid-May concerning DHS' seizure of the account of* largest Bitcoin exchange, Mt. Gox."
Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I stand corrected.

It is going to be interesting to see what the Government does as Bitcoin gains acceptance and purchasing power. If the Feds look the other way they're going to owe Bernard von NotHaus an apology, not to mention the return of his gold and silver that they confiscated. Not bloody likely.
A lot of people think it's basically digital gold because it's so scarce, it holds value well
I really wish there were some practical way of shorting BitCoin.
