Sign Up for the FREE Reason Friends and Family Bracket Contest, With a $750 Prize
Maybe this is the year your crappy alma mater doesn't choke!

Calling all Reason readers who also happen to like sports, especially a certain basketball tournament that happens in March.
Help us celebrate the launch of Free Agent, a new sports and politics newsletter from Reason's Jason Russell, by signing up for our first-ever official Reason Friends and Family Bracket Contest.
The Reason Friends and Family Bracket Contest is pretty much just like every other bracket contest on the internet, except you can:
- Compete with Reason writers and personalities as well as other Reason fans
- Enter for free with a chance to win $750
Maybe this is the year your crappy alma mater doesn't choke!
We will host two bracket contests, one for the men's basketball tournament and one for the women's. Enter one or both. The contests are free to enter and there is no obligation.
The deadline for bracket entry is March 20 at noon ET for the men's bracket and March 21st at noon ET for the women's bracket. Pick your bracket now.
Winners* for each bracket will win $750. Entrants to both brackets are eligible to win both brackets. One entrant per person for the men's and the women's bracket. Winners will be contacted within two weeks of the conclusion of the tournaments.
Look out for the first installment of Free Agent later this month. Reason Managing Editor Jason Russell covers sports and the business of sports from a distinctly Reason-y point of view. You'll get occasional insight into how economics and politics get mixed up with sports. But mostly, you'll get sports.
Want to subscribe to Free Agent without participating in the contest? You can subscribe right here.
*Reason employees can participate but are not eligible to win prizes. The top prize goes to the top nonemployee bracket in each tournament.

The prize should at least involve a stadium deal.
Oh goodie, more ways to avoid libertarian angles. Tell me again, what's the point of articles on a self-proclaimed libertarian website which ignore the libertarian aspect in every article?
What?! No MMA? I'm out.
Too late, they already choked yesterday against Missouri.
The men and women don't compete against each other?
My alma mater got tossed in round 1. They started strong, but fell out of the top 25 before the NCAA tourney started.

Robinson's Rules for Rooting in collegiate sports:
I.) Always root for the private school over the government
edumacational institution.
II.) When two private schools, one secular and the other religious
meet, root for the secular one. (This rule not in force when Marquette plays.)
III.) When two gubmint schools meet, and one is from My Team's
conference, I'll give that one the nod.
IV.) All else being equal, rooting for more obscure schools is more
fun.
V.) AEB=, root for the school with the more original nickname -
Coastal Carolina University Chanticleers, frex.
VI.) None of these rules are to be taken as betting advice.
It's very cool stuff, and given that I love sports, it's a real pleasure to read it. Speaking of sports, quite often I think about how to make watching games more epic, and then I remember StarzBet. This is a real lifesaver for me, because StarzBet starzbet-yeni.com specializes in many sports, as well as incredibly cool slots and casinos. Thus, I can enjoy watching the matches and be sure that I will get good emotions as well as additional rewards. So, friends, if you are as crazy about sports as I am, you should definitely try playing at StarzBet.
