David Braff Jr., an assistant principal at a California middle school, has been charged with 17 felony counts of "lewd acts" on children. Prosecutors say Braff molested eight students between the ages of six and 10 when he was a counselor at McKevett Elementary School from 2015 to 2019.

-Worked as a counselor for school youth organizations until 2015.
-Worked as a counselor for *McKevett Elementary School* from 2015 to 2019.
-Worked as a Vice Principal for *Ingenium Charter Middle School* from 2019(?)-2024.

The underlying communications point to an investigation with regard to allegations about an incident in 2018. It's unclear as to whether the investigation was initiated in 2018 and took 6 yrs. (and a promotion/transfer) to complete, or if the guy got a promotion/transfer while he was molesting kids. A couple phone calls, some actual journalism might clear up the discrepancy, but one of the two descriptions is apt.
