According to the job posting, "The successful candidate will bring a record of leadership in multidisciplinary and collaborative research achievements in quantum sensing technologies that shows global impact." Oh, and that person must be a member "of gender equity deserving groups (including cisgender women, transgender women, transgender men, two-spirit, and non-binary)" and/or not white.

What the hell is "two-spirit"?

I'm going to dread doing this, but googling it... oh, it's just "berdache" or "contrary". A term made up by White Europeans to describe Native American LGBTQ because apparently LGBTQ is offensive if applied to Native Americans.

Yes, many Native American cultures (it's NOT a singular culture!) did have non-binary gender and sexual roles. But it was not a positive thing. If you were gay you had to conform to a specific gender role, such as dressing as a woman. But apparently it's okay if it's Native American Culture.

If you had read your 'queer theory Agrippa' and listened to Justin Trudeau over the last five years, you'd know. Trudeau mentions it often in his speeches. It is supposedly a Native American (or First Nations as Canada calls them) concept for (usually a man) to exhibit behaviors from the spectrum of both sexes--=having the 'spirit of both man and woman'. Again, this is the trans ideology pushing gender stereotypes. It is very likely an invention by academia and has little to no basis in actual native lore.
