Brickbat: Bound and Gagged

The West Virginia State Police have charged Cassandra Sisler, a teacher at Central Preston Middle School in Kingwood, with four counts of child abuse. Sisler reportedly used duct tape to cover a student's mouth during class on two separate days and to tie his wrists together one day.

I hope the duct tape was at least rainbow colored or had the flag of an oppressed people on it.

Middle school. Too old for pluggo.
Face it, every teacher everywhere has wanted to do that at some point.
And husband.
And parent. Pretty much anyone who's had to deal with annoying little shits.
Should have called the school resource officer to do it.
Front. Line. Hero(ine).
Probably saved a dozen Grandmas.
Your duct tape protects me.
Happened on four separate occasions; she previously ran for a seat on the Democratic Preston Country Committee. Either she's nuts or this kid is out of control.
Either she’s nuts or this kid is out of control.
Could be both.
Probably a case of Adderall deficiency.
Okay, I gotta admit. Once as a kid my teacher duct taped me to my school desk so I would stay in my seat. Those were different times, gosh.
I'm amused by the repeated use of "from ear to ear" like, if it were from dimple to dimple or cheekbone to cheekbone it would've been OK.
Wait until she claims the duct tape was an attempt to wax off the kid's developing facial hair.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DENY MINORS HEALTHCARE!

On a more serious note for people who desire freedom for themselves and their posterity, duct tape restraints are not insurmountable:

It just a matter of exploiting the weakness in the underlying fabric of the duct tape.
Another Pro-Tip: Duct tape is good for many things, but not holding together cardboard boxes. Clear plastic tape is best and strongest for that.
