Several schools in London, England, are offering summer literacy lessons that are open only to black students to "accelerate progress in reading and writing whilst also developing the children's knowledge of black history and culture." They are not offering a similar program for white students even though educational achievement is lower for whites from a disadvantaged background than for students from other ethnic groups from a disadvantaged background.

My favorite part, aside from how they're advancing the American Historical slavery/repression model in the UK to make Black Students more ignorant of their own culture, is how they're so proud to expand it to make LGBTQ kids feel more included. If the rapid progress they made for black kids is any indication, we can look forward to their LGBTQ program kicking off sometime in 2070. They've just gotta take 40+ yrs. to let that counter-narrative really marinate into the culture.

There are dozens of black ethnic groups in London, many of whom can't stand each other. I am not sure it is possible to be more condescending than to lump similar skin tones into a single history and culture, especially since plenty of these ethnic groups have been at each other's throats for centuries. This should go well.
