Ottawa police officer Kristina Neilson is facing disciplinary proceedings for donating $50 to the Freedom Convoy of truckers who protested the nation's COVID-19 restrictions earlier this year. The department's internal investigators describe the protest as an "illegal occupation."

The True North knows the best way to strong and free goes through monitoring financials.
I work from home providing various internet services for an hourly rate of $80 USD. I never thought it would be possible, but my trustworthy friend persuaded (amu-14) me to take the opportunity after telling me how she quickly earned 13,000 dollars in just four weeks while working on the greatest project. Was it real dollars or that loony tune stuff ?
The trucker convoy was Canada's January 6th - when a bunch of unarmed deplorables nearly overthrew the government.
Worse. They interrupted the meal deliveries to bureaucrats for days. The horror.
Even worse, a couple of guys [who were promptly run off by the protestors] showed up with a Confederate flag; the HORROR!!!
Interrupting meal deliveries to bureaucrats could be very bad. Lacking all moral sense, they'll turn to cannibalism much faster than humans.
And in other news. Biden wants every political donation on a hit-list.
Insurrection!! Obviously.
Let's keep these small local events to the Brickbat.
What did DeSantis tweet today?
Canada has fallen. The USA is alone now.
Canada, Australia, New Zealand...never mind Garbage Island.
The US is alone and potentially next up. And that is no exaggeration. How many times a day do you hear that we should be "more like Europe?"
We need to start busing people to Brussels.
Since the 1980s? Probably several x a day.
I agree. My whole life since high school I heard that.
Strangely, almost always from someone who didn't know a damned thing about Europe, or their way of life.
There are many things about Europe I like, many more that I don't, many I'd want and not want, good things and bad. They bear no relation to what people are trying to get us to do when they say "We should be more like...:
I lived in Europe for a couple years. When I came back, I realized there were two things that I missed and wished that Americans would adopt. One we largely have - door handles instead of door knobs. The other I'm still waiting for - a very brief red-and-yellow to let you know that the light is about to turn green.
I also loved the public transit but even young I realized that it worked because of the geographic patterns and clusters and would always be impractical for almost all of the US.
The only thing I miss about Europe is cafe culture. We need to get rid of dive bars.
But go shoot a dog and you're fine. Oh, Canada! More like the US every day!
Canada is a tyranny.
A cop supporting a convoy? Dirty Lyle never would have done something like this.
Dirty Lyle hated union truckers.
