Brickbat: Don't Taste the Rainbow

An appellate court in Singapore has rejected a challenge to a law banning gay sex, saying it did not violate the constitution. The law carries a maximum penalty of two years in prison for gay sex. It is rarely enforced, but activists say it is discriminatory and jars with the nation's modern image.

Is angry sex allowed ?
I usually console myself with sad sex.
By yourself.
That's what makes it sad!
"It is rarely enforced, but activists say it is discriminatory and jars with the nation's modern image."
Is hedonism really all that modern?
Homosexuality is hedonism?
Yes, usually.
What sentiment does unenforced legislation reflect? Good for the state to have a law in its back pocket if they can't find anything else to get someone, or maybe as a bargaining chip against someone in a prosecutor's sights.
Absolutely. The state surely benefits if we all break laws every day--just a more formalized system compared to mafia-like extortion.
And promoting sentiments in legal codes is great for political campaigning. Voters like to bash the other guys.
Considering this is Thailand, I guess banging dudes with tits doesn't count as gay.
The long arm of the law reaches out from Singapore to Thailand.
Reaches out or reaches around?
We should keep ourselves healthy in the current scenario. Join fitness classes and have a health diet.
