Brickbat: Naked and Afraid

Two teachers at a Head Start program run by Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville (SIUE) have been placed on leave and could face charges after police said they forced students to stand naked in a closet as punishment when they misbehaved in class. SIUE Police Chief Kevin Schmoll says at least four students, aged 4 and 5, were forced to take their clothes off.

Head Start includes vocational training for strippers?
Or reality TV participants?
So, how did these perps avoid being torn limb from limb by these kids' parents?
I'm quite sure that if anyone had tried this shit on me as a kid, it would have cost them some blood.

I am trying to comprehend how someone thinks of that and concludes it is a splendid idea that no one would object to.
I try to think of a scenario where behaviors might be simply misguided but it's difficult to apply the benefit of the doubt here.
Best I can do:
The official policy was to call the resource officer in. This was the lesser of two evils.
It's East Saint Louis. That's how.
I suspect there is a mostly hidden undercurrent emotional, physical and sexual abuse of children in our schools that, when it is fully understood, is going to make the Catholic church look moral. Administrators and unions have kept a lid on it but some day not too far in the future a news outlet will put the pieces together.
You have an awful lot of confidence in news outlets and the public. It'll start to come out and some editor will put a "the little shits deserved it, back in my day it was worse" spin out it and then another porn star will sue a celebrity lawyer.
Did they check the closet for cameras? And maybe the rest of the building as well.
Attention teachers: "Matilda" was just a movie (and a book) and the Chokey isn't meant to be used in real life.
Government is just a word for us traumatizing children together.
Start working at home with Google! It's by-far the best job I've had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail.

Where the law is just and even, there is no need for vigilantes.
Where the law is corrupt, inefficient, or missing, the community has a natural right to protect its members.
Really? On leave? COULD face charges?
At this point, it is an accusation. You can follow the case and report the results of due process to us in a year.
Ahh yes, as my government school teaching father long ago told me, "the kids" will routinely falsely accuse teachers of misconduct (sexual and otherwise) and that's why there are unions. The only time it's investigated is when they want to fire a teacher anyway, so all accusations should be heavily biased toward the teacher. It's a good system.
Why in the world would a woman have a child, and then abandon it to strangers?
Have the child, raise the child. Better that way.
It sounds like you haven't had children (which is fine). They are very needful of attention. It can be exhausting. The government school system exists primarily as a "free" relief from that exhaustion, with the added sugar that they're "learning."
This point is made pretty clearly when you consider the mountains of research showing that children learn more effectively when school starts later, a finding that is almost completely ignored by school districts. Boston Public Schools tried to adjust it at some point, but the parents complained that it impacted their work schedules and the district caved. Schools are not for learning, to districts they are for what the founders designed them for and to parents they are state-provided daycare.

Reason, it's very simple. Block all posts containing a link to geosalary. How fucking long are you going to let these spammers get away with this? Or is it that you are actually taking kickbacks from geosalary to keep allowing them to post here?
