Prom night in limo

New Jersey's Lakeland Regional High School has banned students from taking limousines or private party buses to the prom. Students can only use transportation provided by the school. Officials say the move is about safety and equity. Limos can be expensive to rent, they say. And it's also about reducing underage drinking. "This way we have a little more control over what's going on," said Superintendent Hugh Beattie.

  1. ?Google pay 95$ consistently my last pay check was $8200 working 10 hours out of every week on the web. My more young kin buddy has been averaging 15k all through ongoing months and he works around 24 hours consistently. I can’t confide in how straightforward it was once I endeavored it out. This is my primary concern…GOOD LUCK .

  2. Have we really gotten to the point where the only justification needed is “we want more control” now?

    1. Control is not the only motivation, thereis is leveling.

      1. Leveling = excuse for control.

        1. I was thinking that was a rather bad motivation in itself.

    2. Yes, of course.
The socialists are coming out now, saying in public what they actually believe.
Any place where there is any kind of individual choice must be destroyed, and the ‘correct’ choice implemented by force.
I suspect if the kids actually had the balls to boycott the prom, and set up a ‘group meeting and dance’ in a different facility, the school would send in the swat team.

      1. I am surprised the progressive statist socialists have not yet banned proms. All that white traditional male domination, flaunting displays of wealth, and retroactive rape and all…

    3. Only if it’s “just a little bit.”

  3. The kids should boycott the “official” prom and have their own party. I’m sure plenty of venues would be quite happy to take their money.

    1. +1 Holiday Inn. Holiday Inn doesn’t give a shit about your limo.

  4. Enterprising kids will be smart enough to work around this minor inconvenience.

  5. What about the expensive prom dresses, tuxedos, corsages, pre-prom dinners, etc.? And what about the fact that Chad gets to take Britney as his date (and a handjob for afters) and Fatty gets stuck with the Warthog, who’s obviously a man-hating bull dyke in denial? Where’s the fairness and equality in that? Look, there’s a training manual for this sort of thing the administrators should be following, IIRC it was written by a guy named Harrison Bergeron. They should look it up.

    1. I have always thought that one ultimate test of “equality” and state managed provision of our human needs will be sexual gratification. Clearly the desirable bodies are unequally shared, and SOMETHING MUST BE DONE!

      1. Well, there are those red belts in 1984 – – –

  6. This way we have a little more control over what’s going on…

“We don’t have them under our thumb forever, after all.”

    1. “This way we have a little more control over what’s going on,”
      LOL tell me another!

  7. “This way we have a little more control over what’s going on,” Beattie said. “It’s 45 minutes away from campus, so we’ll make sure students get there and back safely.”

“Once we get you back to campus, you’re on your drunken fucking own.”

  8. We’ll find out that someone on the school board is at war with the local limo company.

    1. No kickback or something petty.

      1. It’s New Jersey after all.

  9. Fuck Prom…

    1. I thought you were supposed to go to prom first, and then fuck. Then again, my social skills have always been a bit lacking.

    1. As with the fake MAGA hat wearing attackers who jumped Jussie Smollett, these are gay white men trying to tell a narrative that is fake.

These Lefties really need for their narrative to be true.

      1. so in their speaking truth to power exercise, who exactly is the power in this case…all the other fudge packers in La-La land?

  11. Officials say the move is about safety and equity.

Cory Booker agrees with the EQUITY part.

  14. “Where they ban limos, they will also ultimately ban dancing.”

    1. True. Dancing could possibly trigger the rhythm challenged.
So no limos, no dancing, no drinking. Everyone just spend a bazillion dollars to dress up and look at each other.
OOPS.Can’t look at each other, one of those looked at may be offended and consider it rape.
So no limos, no dancing, no drinking, no dressing up and looking at each other.

OK; how about this. All the students get together and bad-mouth the faculty and administrators.
OOPS. Pretty risky behavior trash talking union members in NJ.

      1. And no laughing and no talking.
        –Ghost of Eddie Izzard

        1. And no prom. There, fixed.
